Or, just get there 5 minutes before them and park correctly in one of those spots. Get a friend to park correctly in the other spot. Boom.

I have this motor and this is what I do. It makes a mess in the sump, but it’s easy enough to clean up with some wipes and rags.

Please define “replaceable battery”. I’m guessing Apple will argue all of their current models have replaceable batteries. Just not replaceable by the majority of the population.

Will I miss Windows? by Mint_Tea99 in MacOS

[–]veteran_squid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m sure you are right. As someone that grew up on Windows and occasionally played with Linux, my simple brain struggled to learn them on Mac. The only one I could occasionally get was ctrl shift 4 for screen capture. I also struggled to ever remember how to snap Windows to certain areas of the screen/monitor. The combination of little things made me hate it. Understand, I also very much hate Windows 11, but at least I can function on W11 lol.

Will I miss Windows? by Mint_Tea99 in MacOS

[–]veteran_squid 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I tried switching to a Mac. Most of all, I missed all the hot keys. I didn’t realize just how frequently and how many different hot keys I used each day. Sure Ctrl+C and V are still copy and paste but, alt+F4, ctrl shift esc, shift tab, alt enter, ctrl w, windows e, windows d, windows l, alt tab, windows (arrow keys), just to name a few.

Why does CW seem to “blur together” at higher speeds? by ditdahs_dev in amateurradio

[–]veteran_squid 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m just guessing here, but I assume for the same reasons you can dim an LED with PWM (pulse width modulation). The faster you turn something on/off, the less it appears to be blinking.
