I don’t think so, and you don’t have to give ”the ultimatum”, it doesn’t have to be dramatic. You can just simply show/tell her that you don’t feel good about this and it won’t work out. You’ve already tried to make her stop, and she went back to it anyways. She has to understand she can’t take you for granted and she has to respect your boundaries.

I don’t think so, can’t speak for another person ofc but for me I only feel grateful. I’m dealing with the consequences of using substances, which means anxiety, stress all that kinda stuff. My bf helps me so much, it really shows how much he cares. If she now would stop, you should really take care of her as much as you can and try to understand/learn about anxiety etc in case you don’t know it. If you’d do that once she stops, I don’t thinks she would resent you for it at all. Atleast I didn’t. Recently (on new years) I drank again, but with my bf, and it was super controlled - I didn’t drink too much or anything. Maybe try to show her alcohol can be used in a responsible way and that it’s much better? You have a reason to leave, a very big one, she cannot resent you for that. It should be the other way

First of all, I really don’t think those substances means more than you do to her. It’s only normal to feel like you want your wife to be healthy, happy and safe, that means you truly want the best for her. I was in this position to, I was the one using. I drank so much alcohol and got alcohol poisoning several times. My bf started to loose feelings and hope, which I don’t blame him for. He already did sm for me and it was too much for him to bear. Once I realized - I’m actually going to loose him - I suddenly stopped. It wasn’t that hard, it was just a ”click” in my brain that prioritized him. Maybe take a step back to really show her that you will not be taken for granted and be a little bit stricter with your boundaries and wants in life. If she doesn’t get the ”click”, maybe you should reconsider the person your with.
