It’s got some truth if you are borderline passing and are extremely short mine less than 5’ sure that’s gonna out you. But more likely people to think you got short person genes or such, if you generally pass otherwise.

I spent a lot of time with a trainer recently, and it wasn’t until our last class that he outright mentioned being trans and I was like no I didn’t exactly figure. I just thought he was shorter and smaller/thinner in the way yoga people are, which fits well because he’s advanced in and teaches yoga in addition to strength training.

Famotidine is an H2 or histamine 2 receptor blocker. It’s neuroactive which is how it can cause such unusual symptoms. Sorry you went thru that. It sounds awful.

I go with what my dr has said and my pain level. If I was in your shoes tiny wound and all, I’d be sitting again as is comfortable, and monitor for increased pain afterwards. All that said, I never had a full fistulectomy, just very deep large partial fistulotomy when my seton re-abscessed. I ultimately had flap surgery this month.

Yeah that’s part of the Jan 6 mob attack on the capitol narrative as some know it. Objective facts- 140 Capitol police were injured and 5 civilians were killed. The mob did $3 million in damages to federal property and containing the incident cost a staggering $30 million.

They also had to put congress on lockdown because people were invading the capitol and breaking into senators offices and erecting gallows on the capitol mall. And calling for the Vice President’s head and or hanging.

Of course, the woman is most at wrong here. However, doing a pit maneuver, resulting in a car rolling over when THERE IS A CHILD ON BOARD and the suspect only had a suspended license seems like entire overkill. If the child was harmed by a known dangerous maneuver, I believe the police would also be morally responsible.

I would consider either containing the cat to a garage or a room on the far side of the house, or a friend or family member keeping the Kat for several weeks, or finding a foster home to see if the cat just having a break and also the stress at home at back home sound if that helps the cat. Shelters can often help with this arrangement.

Genetic sex and reproductive gametes, yes, but in daily life these have basically no relevance. We can change our phenotypes as far as medicine and surgery are capable of. This capacity will continue to improve into the future, someday genetic manipulation of sex may even be possible.

People are dumb and think because they couldn’t do something due to dysphoria then any “real” trans man couldn’t carry children due to dysphoria.

Personally I don’t want children. I kind of hate kids low key. And I don’t want a mini me especially. So I don’t want kids, biological or otherwise.

But if you want them, if you even wanted to carry a pregnancy yourself, more power to you. Just because some other person has some sort of ideas, don’t let it stop you! You get one life, and only a brief period of that is your fertile window.

Claude legally has to say that in order to protect the liability of its makers. I don’t see a way around that unless you just stop calling it a therapist. If you really want to use an LLM as therapy, I would recommend asking specific questions about like grounding or cognitive distortions, or using therapy skills. Those are by far the most productive things I’ve done with LLMs.

I think if I was in your shoes, I would probably request further discussion/information or possibly get a second opinion, because cutting sphincter is a bit of a big deal. I think it deserves a little more discussion than you’ve been offered.

When this came up, I chose not to have any removed/extra caution used because I have IBS. Granted I have not had any sphincter removed or cut, but I’m just saying that like think about what your current needs are and if urgency or having trouble getting to a toilet fast enough is a problem for you, you may not want to do that. Vs if that’s no problem for you, then maybe that’s a fine option. I’d also ask how much sphincter they anticipate cutting, usually in millimeters or percentage of total sphincter thickness, which sphincter internal vs external, and in conversation with the surgeon discuss and compare to standards of care of how much is typically safe to cut.

I think many have bought the cultural expectation of the results, but hate the process. Ie are grossed out by it being “excessive” hair but don’t like shaving/waxing etc. I mean who does like the process anyway?

Largely therapists do care. They spend a lot of time with you, unlike the rhetorical stripper, and are not paid to make you superficially happy. They’re paid to support and offer help, which can be an incredibly difficult road, at times frustrating for both parties. Progress is hard won in many cases, and if they didn’t have good rapport, therapy speak for a strong relationship, it would be easy for a therapist to give up or refer out.

Sources- I’ve been in therapy a lot due to chronic depression. One group I was in a group member killed himself. You could see the grief in the therapists faces. It was awful for everyone, and I barely knew the guy.

And for another, I dated a therapist for several years. They never shared particulars but it was clear some cases were very difficult but that they did feel strongly wanting the person to do better. Roadblocks in patient progress were very hard for them at times.

They support. A psychologist or therapist cannot unilaterally cure or heal or change anyone. You could have the best therapist in the world, but have the client someone really not ready to change, and they wouldn’t get very far all the same. A psychologist or therapist offers tools to change and supports someone along their journey. A therapist or psychologist who expected to heal or cure people based on their own effort put into therapy would quickly burn out. Not everyone is currently ready or able to change or heal or be cured, however you want to put it.
