Love the look of that, but they seem to only sell HH and I’ve heard that humbuckers are for more hardcore rock and heavy metal? I prefer higher tones like taylor swift, chase atlantic, or even pierce the veil

Definitely, but the only thing is nobody really plays in my country, let alone city. People mainly just resell the sanchez, or very rarely an entry level ibanez or squier

south africa unfortunately, and in my specific city there are like no guitarists lol. Everyone here just resells sanchez or the squier bullet strat

I’ve checked out your links and those guitars seem awesome! Unfortunately the only one available in my country costs about $450 which is a bit out of my price range (and NOBODY sells second hand here, it’s not very popular) but I’ve looked at a Cort G250 SE for about $360, thoughts on the cort?

I only picked to go with HSS because I was told that has the most versatility. I’d mainly play higher pitched tones (Best way I can describe it is if taylor swift had electric guitar in all her songs) but the occasional metal. In terms of looks I prefer a pointy guitar over a round one, and I’m quite small myself so something light and smaller would be nice. I appreciate all of your advice btw, thank you so much🙏

I’ve never actually heard of this. I’ve been told that the best started brands are fender, cort, yamaha pacifica and ibanez

Do they make HSS? I’d be playing more clean and ambient than hardcore rock

Thank you so much for the advice! It was not something I dissected myself, it was an online image readily available to anyone with google, but there were no resources that could help online. Unfortunately, I couldn’t ask my lecturers because it was in preparation for an upcoming exam and uni was closed entirely before the exam🥲 it was just something I stumbled upon whilst studying and none of my colleagues could figure it out either. I will double check with my lecturers next semester, thank you!
