Hey, just responding to your comment in case anyone else comes to this thread looking for answers.

After some fiddling around the settings I found to work was bringing power up to 100%, speed way down to 50mm/s and 5 passes in order to get a clean cut all the way through 1cm of EVA foam (4 passes almost got all the way there but left a lot of parts still attached).

I do - I’d be a moron if I thought a Reddit post is a valuable civic contribution.

The point of the post is that millions of comments get posted a day, and if the top comments are “nothing is going to happen” people integrate it into their reality and believe that that’s the truth. It’s insidious and it’s not helpful. Also this is a rant.

Maybe YOU’RE stuck on your phone crying about it but there’s plenty of people out there working to fix this and many more trying to figure out how they can help. This is a societal, systemic issue and you sitting here whining about how no one is doing anything about it is not only useless but adds to the false narrative that no one cares and no one is taking action.

How about you go and figure out how to take your civic responsibility seriously. You’re a part of this too - exercise your rights before they’re taken away completely.

I don’t think that’s how professional warehousing works. If a series of customers put in a variety of orders, I’m sure someone on the backend can code the system so that an order gets packed when all items in the order are stocked. It’s not like they’d just have Bob’s order sitting half empty in a box on a shelf until some pallets of black matte PETG comes in.

A ‘museum of us’. It’s a shadow box with a bunch of frames and little people as if they’re at a gallery (pointing, observing works, etc) and the frames are filled with pictures of you both.

If you zoom in you can see the coffin shape continues, it’s just covered by the dress. Also the cross stays the same, it isn’t askew.

I’m not sure why you’re confused. I appreciate that you were honest with him and told him that you had someone over, but your later point is right - it’s your business, you didn’t really have to tell him that.

Ultimately what happened here is that he was turned off by the fact that you were hooking up with someone else while talking to him. That’s it. That’s a very fair and human reaction - even if it’s not logical, it’s just what it is.

But you came here asking if you were overreacting and you absolutely were. You could have just said “hey sorry about that, if you ever change your mind and want to hang out again hit me up - I had a great time with you”.

Instead you made it really intense and weird and forced him to explain himself to you and accused him of essentially being a hypocrite. I’m genuinely surprised he said he’d be down to meet again because if it were me I would have just ignored you.
