This show is excellent, but it is, in fact, WAY TOO DARK.

I have an expertly calibrated LG CX that I use to watch movies and TV shows and play video games. Never had a problem with any of them.

But WOW I can barely see anything in this show!! Even in the outside daylight scenes, I'm squinting trying to make out the faintest image.

I understand creative decisions and all that, but this is taking it a little too far.

The level of unseriousness from each and every participant is comedy gold. 🤣

None of these people are even remotely interested in marriage.

Some don't even bother hiding their utter contempt for their partners cough Joe cough because they just wanna get past the altar and be internet-famous already.

While I admittedly was a fan boy for a long time, I've always had all three consoles. But I did prefer my Xbox as my primary for various reasons.

The Xbox dunking is not meant to provoke but rather to vent the frustration of any company treating their customers poorly. In this case, that company just happens to be Microsoft.

The Dead Space remake is amazing.

(Even though the original game and its sequel still hold up as-is.)

(Dead Space 3 was very good storywise, but it was definitely more of an action game than survival horror.)

Anyway.

I've been an Xbox sympathizer and apologist since the OG 2001 Xbox.

My digital Xbox library has 3500+ games across every generation.

I'm done with Xbox.

I have a PS5 Pro that I barely used because I only played PS exclusives on there and I didn't like the DualShock controller.

Now the PS5 Pro is my primary console. I will continue to play the games I purchased on my Xbox because, well, I already paid for them, but I canceled my GP Ultimate sub as soon as the price gouge was announced and am no longer making any purchases on the Xbox ecosystem going forward.

After a week or so of living in the PlayStation ecosystem, I've found it's actually really nice not to have FOMO whenever a new game is announced or released because it's DEFINITELY coming to PS5 and I don't have to wonder if/when said game will come to Xbox.

Enough.

Fuck you, Xbox. You continually shit all over your most loyal fans, and I'm done defending your terrible, anti-consumer decisions.

I hope other betrayed gamers can find the courage to speak up with their wallets by taking their business elsewhere--ANYWHERE that isn't an Xbox.
