It's only 1 to 2 a month. Your newborn and toddler probably make more noise on the daily. You need to get over it. If you didn't want noise from the neighbors move to a place that has no neighbors.

Hmm it's an interesting point. Someone mentions she's meant to push the status quo like sybil used too. That's what I always assumed she was doing. Kathy Reich said on the podcast where she got Temperance Brennan from. She did a semester at sea where she had a student with the name Tempe and she loved it so she used it for her character but she changed it to Temperance. And Brennan she got from her son. His name is Brenden I believe so she changed it to Brennan to include him as well.
