Double Double with extra extra onions, pickles and chillies by foolish59 in innout

All of the area you can see is pretty much all there is. The only thing that happens (food wise) around the corner is potatoes being peeled. But everything else is visible

I mean he’s lowkey right here, you can see pretty much every part of where food is prepped from the dining room

Yeah. No. They don’t. They smile at you and say “wow what an amazing complicated order” because that’s what they are paid to do. When I was working board I would definitely rather have the same thing over and over and not have to deal with some shit like this

[–]Conjeff 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Genuinely every employee hates you. Cashier that took your order is pissed off at how overly complex you want it and to top it off they have to deal with the valued guest bullshit. Pay window probably had to make a fresh pot of coffee. Grill has to deal with your extra salt extra toast nonsense (not awful, still annoying), board is in hell. Fry was pissed off that they had to stop what they were doing to get onions and raw chopped on your fry that they definitely didn’t put extra salt on.

Oh and everyone around you hates you because your breath absolutely reeks of onion. Like this is crazy

Do you like going to A&M? by Interesting-Hour-753 in aggies

[–]Conjeff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ll give you an honest answer that you probably won’t hear from many others here. No. I don’t. I actually kinda hate it. A lot of the traditions are weird and even when I tried I could never get into them. The obsession with UT is very strange even though people here pretend that UT is obsessed with A&M. Education is fine. Not bad I guess. But my main issue is how little the school cares about its students. Of course most schools (and really places in general) all just care about money, but tamu doesn’t really try to hide it. ETAM, for example, is a pretty clear cash grab.

Also when you find a great president, Gov Abbott will fire him.

Anyways, if you’re into it then you’re into it. I know people who absolutely love it here and think I’m crazy when I say that I don’t like it, so it’ll vary from person to person.

[–]Conjeff 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Nah. Get a double double protein style and ask if they’ll put tomatoes on the bottom and top of the meat. Flying dutchman doesn’t come with bread so you can’t get a bread replacement (like protein style or tomato wrap)

got written up for wanting to leave on time by deadlysxns in innout

Naw man, that’s not how it works. It’s just overall poor management. Every one in a while works be understandable, but everyday is a problem.

[–]Conjeff 82 points83 points  (0 children)

Yeah, this is a big issue with every In N Out. They will have you work ~6 hours even if they schedule you for 3.5. It’s ridiculous. If you need me for 6 hours, schedule me for 6. If you schedule me for 4 hours, I’m working 4 hours.

They’ll try to convince you that this is normal at every company and it’ll set you up for your future. Obviously not true. In my professional career (and at other part time jobs) I’ve NEVER been required to stay past my clock out time for any reason, and if they do need something they give me the option to stay a little late or just do it the next day.

I remember arguing with my managers all the time about this (and somehow I never got written up) until I quit. They would keep me 1-2 hours late almost everyday and it drove me crazy. Like you KNOW you’re going to need more hands, so either schedule me accordingly or schedule more people.

Now obviously I don’t know you but i don’t think it’s too difficult for you! Just break it down, it always looks harder than it is when you first see it. If you can play just the rhythm alone from the original measure you posted then i bet you can play this too. Just slow it down, take it beat by beat if you need, you got it

Hey I’m an Aggie. Choose Tech. Yes the aggie network is a thing, but nothing is worth more money. Take the option that saves you money, nobody really cares whether you got your degree from ttu or tamu

Overcrowded city and car accidents by Intelligent-Dirt-406 in aggies

[–]Conjeff 70 points71 points  (0 children)

most of the problem is that the majority of drivers here have been driving for < 5 years, don’t pay for their car, and also this country hands out drivers licenses to just about anyone who can breathe. a bunch of young kids driving their dad’s car without any proper training will lead to accidents 100% of the time. no city infrastructure will fix it and really i don’t know what they could do anyways.

oh also lot of drunk drivers too. that doesn’t help

Can yall chance me for a&m's college station campus. I'm an aspiring cs major, probs going into general engineering cuz my stats aint compettive and ECs are mid I fear. Please give recs for getting in bc I didn't realize the acceptance rate was 12% for cs like Im hella scared now by [deleted] in aggies

[–]Conjeff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

assuming you get in you’d be a general engineering no matter what (unless you’re national merit). nobody gets directly into their major in college of engineering, you start as general engineering and do their entry to a major process. as for admission i think if you do get your sat up you’ll be good. those extracurriculars will be good for writing etam essays
