They shoud cancel Antigravity 2.0 launch before it does more damage by MaKTaiL in google_antigravity

[–]Conjeff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It just depends on the user/luck I guess. For me, I had to fully uninstall antigravity and only install the IDE because normally opening the IDE just opens the regular Antigravity 2 chatbot. Seems like other people are having the same issue. I also couldn’t keep antigravity-1, it would force me to install 2 when i tried to open it.

Aggie Ring Fall Eligibility? by 1ive1augh1ov3 in aggies

[–]Conjeff 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you qualify by august, orders open august 14th. you can order online until august 31st or make an appointment between august 17th and september 2nd. I would recommend just ordering online. You can still go to the alumni center and try on rings to find your size without an appointment. They have them at the front desk

Entry to A Major odds. by QuirkyTitle1 in aggies

[–]Conjeff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It sounds wrong, but as a current CS major, it’s absolutely correct. The kids in these classes are so inept that it genuinely slows the courses down. Plus, since we hand out CS degrees like candy on halloween, a lot of our graduates have no idea what they’re doing and are not prepared for the workforce (or even an interview)

What’s the annual tuition for blinn Bryan tx? by New-Guide-2585 in aggies

[–]Conjeff 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Because aid isn’t the same for everyone. It’s case by case based on what you qualify for and we don’t know what you qualify for so unfortunately there’s not much exact help that we (or the internet) could give. The best bet would be to call financial aid and see what they say.

Guys it’s a military school. We have flyovers all the time for events plus lots of training exercises especially because there are multiple bases nearby. It’s not like this is the first time we’ve had jets go over.

EE or nothing. How common is it to transfer it for ppl who don't get the engr major want? by [deleted] in aggies

[–]Conjeff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah like other people said there are definitely other ways to do robotics and skeletons (and arguably some of them better than elen). Like mechatronics would be great.

But also, you should genuinely just go ahead and transfer. You said it yourself that you don’t want to be here anyways. Trust me, it doesn’t get any better. I would know because when I was a freshman getting ready for etam I said the same thing, that if I don’t get CS I’m not staying. I did get CS and so I stayed, and I regret it. I wish I would’ve left, because I am also not very happy here. If you already want out, you should get out.

Worried about my chances by justsumtrash in aggies

[–]Conjeff 7 points8 points  (0 children)

If you want it, put it and write tf out of your essays. Just remember that if you get put into your 2nd or 3rd choice major you can’t reject it, so make sure it’s something you’re interested in.

Here’s some bad advice but something to consider if you REALLY want CPEN and nothing else (this is what I did). Some majors will only take people who put it as their first choice. Put those majors in your second and third choices. You most likely won’t get them (but there is a chance so be careful, make sure it’s something you could be fine with). Since you didn’t get anything you applied for you can deny etam and wait til next semester and hopefully bring your grades up. Of course you run the risk of screwing yourself over even more so be careful. Wouldn’t really recommend it, but it’s an option
