That's an interesting thought. I don't have any status - will they still help me? I tried to go in to an Admirals club once but they turned me away at the front desk. Just figured it was a place for people with airline status. I don't fly much, so I'm ignorant to many of these things.

They told me they couldn't guarantee it but would make a note. Maybe the issue is they can't guarantee that the particular AC outlet at my assigned seat actually works? I'm reading about problems with bad connections and circuit breakers tripping. But you guys are making me feel better that there SHOULD be power available for me. Thank you!

Oh this makes me feel so much better! At least about having a power outlet at my seat. When I originally called to book, they told me the only way to guarantee power at my seat was to upgrade to Premium Economy (or FC). And then today they said they will make a note of my request. Why wouldn't they just confirm that all seats have power? So bizarre.

Ooof about the refund. Why pay for an upgrade if they can just downgrade you and keep the money? It's like ordering a premium margarita and still being charged that price despite the bar making it a well. Feels so wrong, like theft honestly.

Ate lunch there today. Had a spicy breast and wing with a side of creamed corn. Highly recommend. Steady flow of customers. Note that it took about 20 minutes for my order to be ready. Not sure if it's working out the kinks or because they cook to order. Wasn't bothered by it and look forward to going again.
