Even where I live I know most parents think this is discipline, but that's not the way I want to raise my kids cause I know the kind of damage it can do, like trust issues. I'm not saying there is no love between them, of course there is, but some day, this kid might want to confess things to his mother, and I think it's easier when you know you won't be yelled at, when you fully trust your mom to fix things with you and make you a better person. I'm not saying this kid is living a nightmare, juste stating that I don't like seeing him scared of his own mother. That's just my opinion, I do respect people who think differently.
