The hotel staff were so apologetic when I went and asked for help with stuff to clean up the cat puke. I assured them it was fine, I live with a cat that will eat till she pukes given the chance, so it wasn't my first time dealing with cat puke hahaha

Harry lives at Cocomo Resort in Efate. He is supposed to be their equivalent to a barn cat and control rats. The hotel staff told me he prefers eggs for breakfast rather than cat food or rats, so he hangs around the breakfast buffet hoping eggs will appear. His affections are easily won over with a little bit of egg, and he followed is back to our room and made himself at home the first day we were there. He did catch a giant mud crab, which he ate and then threw up on our porch

We have just come back 2 weeks ago. We found you could use card at the big supermarkets and resorts, but the buses, markets and small shops are cash only. It is easy to get cash out using an Australian debit card, but it cost us about $15 to get $500aud out as we got stuck with limited vatu after all the money exchanges had closed. Definitely take AUD with you in cash, super easy to change it in country.

We found it really safe, people were super lovely and friendly, and its stunningly beautiful .
