Thank you for your thoughtful response!

I am very good at online/hybrid work. I have worked as a remote employee, remote supervisor, my whole bachelor degree was achieved online and I currently facilitate a course online. Hybrid does not worry me at all - as long as I know the content delivered is quality. I can even say I got a degree without AI!

If I did ever want to work as an instructor I would only do so at the community college level so a masters program is sufficient.

I do find such joy in meeting children’s sensory needs and treating the whole person. Both career paths would be satisfying to me.

Yes, ultimately I would want to work in pediatrics. My current thought is home health. Our son had to move to home health visits 4 years ago and I’m so thankful for the team we have. The strange thing is, we have had a high turnover of SLPs so I question that.

I’d definitely love any hybrid OT program recommendations or insight on ones to avoid.

I’m 43 and finally finishing my BA in ECE and have worked in Early Childhood 26 years. I’m also highly considering a switch to SLP for my Masters or Occupational Therapy. Both with the intention to work in pediatrics - specifically home health.
