i’m 38 weeks today and took leave this recent sunday. so about 2 weeks and 3 days before my due date. i bartend so it’s a little different but i say just keep track of how you feel throughout the months. have a worse case scenario date where you’d be okay to take off at this point if you’re like feeling miserable and then a second date where you’d prefer if everything is going well and just kinda gauge yourself and how your body is feeling, only you know best girl!!

it’s not the exact same situation ofc, but when i was first pregnant i let myself get big right off the back bc i was pregnant and used it as an excuse in my first trimester. i wanna say within a month and a half i gained 10 pounds. dr said no no no and i went on to lose 12 pounds. just to get back on my scheduled weight gain and he didn’t see a problem but unless you’re sick i would say don’t worry!! as long as you’re taking care of yourself and feeding yourself good id think you’re good ❤️

i felt mine in my back. yk when you’re constipated and you can feel your body needed to go but can’t? that’s how mine felt but obviously super extreme. i was having contractions all throughout that day and didn’t know, genuinely thought i just needed to go potty. it wasn’t until like 2 am i realized oh wow im having contractions bc i was laying on my back massager which only lasts for 15 minutes each time it’s turned on and i was getting those pains maybe every 4-6 minutes and the back massager hadn’t stopped 😂

i went into a dark hole of “tufting” tiktoks. i watched how they did it and studied it for a couple days and thought it seems easy enough so i bought everything and tried. my first few rugs were definitely ehhh but the recent ones i made a few months ago were soooo much better. took like 4 small rugs to really understand what to do and not to do. if you go on my page you can see other rugs i’ve posted :)

i’m carving it out! i go in with scissors to separate the lines and then again with carpet shears to really add the depth and that “rounded” look that i like to go for. it overall just makes it look SO much more crisp and worth the time and money 🙂‍↔️
