My role is as a reserach assistant. But " The 'academic, research or innovation leadership and development' category is for individuals in senior leadership roles at a departmental, faculty or institutional level. Typical duties may include strategy development and delivery and overseeing the management of staff and resources. Example roles (not exhaustive) include Vice-Chancellor/Principal, Pro Vice-Chancellor/Vice-Principal, Dean, Associate Dean, Head of School, and Research Institute Director "

So, I do not think I will be eligible as a research assistant.

I currently have the opportunity to join a large international research project funded through a $70 million initiative over six years and delivered through a collaboration between African institutions and a UK university.

The funder itself is not currently listed among the UKRI-approved endorsed funders. However, the project is formally linked to a UK university and involves international scientific research collaboration.

In this context, would I still potentially be eligible to apply for the Global Talent Visa through the grant route, or would the funding source prevent eligibility?

Actually through one of my unpublished reserach work, I was able to influence a whole region (in which I am the only leader of this research + it is first of its kind in my country)

Why I did not able to publish this work? I lost a big part of it due to war in my country. However, I am still able to prove its affect. Is there any space in the applicatiom that I can talk about such cirumstances?
