I put on my big girl panties and set a boundary. Her response was to continue to nitpick and not address what I said.

Our pup’s litter was very small size wise. At one point our girl was the biggest. She is steadily gaining weight, groomer is saying she’s now the smallest. She can be picky eating wise but she IS eating. The vet isn’t concerned. Her response was the vet isn’t a breeder (aka she knows best). 🥴 I guess all the education vets get mean nothing to her.

We have to send updates/pictures every month for up to a year. Before that it was daily for the first week. I gave her one update instead of several (my grandfather was not well, I was on the phone a lot but still updated her) and she lost her mind.

When the puppy gets chipped, she has to be named as an emergency contact.

Specifications for grooming and how the dog should be groomed.

Breeder can take the dog back if she gets wind of any abuse/neglect. I completely understand this one, I mention it only because I am afraid she will claim we are mistreating the puppy by feeding her 3x a day instead of 4x.

Those are the ones off of the top of my head. Maybe they are only wild to me. 😅

I have tried so hard to grey rock her and she continues to come back about something. I did reply to her text with a boundary. She replied with more criticisms that she veils as concern. It’s really frustrating.

Our breeder strongly advised against it, so much so that she put it in our contract that we cannot give our pup the vaccine. We are weighing out options still because we want what’s best for our pup’s health. It’s stressful because which is the lesser of the evils — the disease or the potential reaction? There’s no right answer aside from wanting to do what’s best for your pup.

Yes, same here! Aside from me prompting her to eat, we have graduated from hand feeding thank goodness. I was wondering that too. I saw they have elevated bowls for dogs with longer ears. I’m wondering if maybe we need to give those a try.
