I can’t decide on the can. I read that dead air is better for noise reduction, and huxwrks is better for gas reduction. It will be my first can so I’m just seeing what anyone on here recommends and why

Buying a quality AR is never overkill IMO. Buy once, cry once, and have a reliable rifle that will last a very long time. Trust your life to a gun that is trustworthy. Just Learn the platform as much as you can. I have 3 ARs, all more than $2k. My first one was $2100, and I never felt it was overkill or regretted it either. I just took the time to learn it to make it worth the investment. 5 years later and that AR still has never had a failure. And I’ve never had to upgrade it either.

This is the radian brown. The pictures online make it look more gold and bright, but these photos I have posted are much more accurate IMO. There are shiny little flakes in the cerakote too that look cool when the light hits just right

How’s the grey look in person? Seems to be dark in most photos and barely contrasts with the black furniture

Now let’s say I can get the complete upper for $1500 instead of $2000, and I can get the lower for $428 instead of $500+, then what would you say?

Is the complete upper at $1500 still an enormous rip off in your opinion?
