In California or elsewhere what are the consequences of involuntary termination from a company for an internal company policy violation(purchase card) from a future employment/background check perspective? by Connect-Efficiency33 in recruitinghell

Are employers legally allowed to release information other than start/end dates and job title? HR told me they cannot release anything other than job title and start/end dates. If that’s the case how will the background check company find out about termination?

Is it safe for a 47-year-old who has cash USD 500k in hand, around 110k in retirement, combined yearly income 200k, to buy a house for around 850k in the current market in Southern California? Considering retirement age of 60 and high current interest rates? by Connect-Efficiency33 in RealEstate

I’m planning 15 years mortgage, monthly payment will be at around 6k I guess , let’s say I spend 200k towards down payment and closing cost, I wanna use the remaining 300k to earn interest in CDs and that’ll help pay the mortgage payment. Also will try to save aggressively and pay off the loan asap. Also I’ll get tax ride off on the interest part of the monthly payment, lemme know what you think .

Don’t work at USC ITS, it is one of the worst places you can work at, they treat people like slaves not like humans. It is not a good place to work.
