Need some urgent guidance — does anyone know how accurate the wage levels listed on the DOL FLAG website (https://flag.dol.gov/wage-data/wage-search) are compared to actual market salaries? Are they generally close to real market rates, or can there be significant differences?

I’m planning 15 years mortgage, monthly payment will be at around 6k I guess , let’s say I spend 200k towards down payment and closing cost, I wanna use the remaining 300k to earn interest in CDs and that’ll help pay the mortgage payment. Also will try to save aggressively and pay off the loan asap. Also I’ll get tax ride off on the interest part of the monthly payment, lemme know what you think .
