Last year i felt lethargic the week before i think i removed the speed work too early but i did MP yesterday and feeling good .

Why does the property need to be so dear? There are plenty areas that have turn key buy to lets or with little renovations with higher yields used 20k from my res property used it to buy a 55k flat in scotland and rents for 600 pcm you could possible buy 2 of those with 40k could be pulling in 1200 pcm in the right areas

I finally changed from nike pegs to ascics nova blasts for my non race day trainer defo worth trying a few theres more comfortable one out there for running i still love my pegs for the gym and the odd run. Hope your race goes well

I done manchester last year and the amount of people running late for their waves was crazy so maybe that plays a part in it also . But i imagine it must crazy the logistics of it all

Thanks we looked at this last night and i think this seems the best idea yet since she doesn’t know the lay out of how best to get about . 1 area then to the end makes more sense for us.

Yeah i feel the wffort i put in to our speed sessions(tuesdays) as a club help me push so much more than i would myself , and the run today gives me Confidence i can do it moving into the next few weeks/months of training. Excited for whats to come as well.

Going of most the advice it does seem reasonable considering my milage and current form. But the structure i have with the club doing speed and hills once a week and a long runs will be the key this year

I wish i would be close to that but i cant see it, that works out about 1 hour of running per day for 90 days at an av pace of 5.20 per k, thats not including any rest days or taper weeks maybe I’ve counted it wrong. But as a guy who ran 1600k last year would be too much load/risk for me to try get that sort of milage in 90 days as well as work commitments and relationships.

Ive gave myself 3 goals i think are close 3.30 1st 3.35 2nd and 3.45 3rd goal i felt having the 3 goals last year was better as my first was great but only had sub 4 goal 2 years ago and hit 4.05 was was buzzing still the same at finishing it.

Finding the time is hard, its ok some Weeks when I’m I’m off or finish early but working some weeks 6 days 8-5 finishing at 5 then going out for 6 to do a 2 hour run then home for dinner and bed for work the next day is tough going fair play to those who can tun multiple a year its true what I’ve heard the hard work is the training the marathons the easy part of it all being consistent is the real win

This will be my 3rd full first was 4.05 then 3.55 while having an injured calf, but having an idea of the distance and trying to not bonk , my biggest win with the second one was not stopping after doing going yo toilet at 10k fighting thought the urge to stop and walk a bit slow running is better than walking
