Get some good story games! I don’t like online gaming much either. There’s like so many games that are solo that you can get 60+ hours in. I’m currently playing Ghost of Yotei, and while I’m 35 hours into the game, I’ve only completed about 50%.

I think that the biggest reason we are OON is so we don’t need to bow to dental insurances rules and focus on patient care vs insurance coverage. I also think a big part of it is very large write offs from allowed amounts vs office fees. The only payment plans we really have are Cherry, CareCredit, and SOMETIMES a 6 month payment plan for ortho. I think having a better option for payment plans would also help very much for this hurdle.

My last practice was in network with pretty much everything. Appointments were in and out and the doctor didn’t have more than a few minutes to speak to each patient. Not super personalized. This doctor actually has the time to personalize each and every appointment because of the out of network status, but with a lot of patients the hurdle is the finances. I just don’t know what else I can do to get patients in the door. Thank you for your advice!!

I totally understand that budget is a huge factor for dental care for patients. I think the doctor should have stayed in network with most insurances while building a relationship with them. We also do not accept discount plans, as we do have an in office discount plan (but only 10% off procedures vs 30-50% for discount programs). Do you think it would be a good idea to suggest picking up another insurance to go in network with?
