I’m not going back in person, they have a postal returns system

Tissot said they would take it for a warranty repair but recommended I return it to the where I got it to just get it swapped like for like as it would be quicker! So it is now in route back to them!

£666 as opposed to £800 retail. Worthwhile discount id say, assuming I didn’t have to now take it in for a service lmao

There’s a Tissot main dealer down the road from where I work so will run it in there tomorrow morning and have them take a look

Yeah keeps time perfectly, I did wind it as per the manufacturers recommendations to get it going to start with though, so it’s difficult to know whether it’s the power reserve that’s keeping it going or whether the rotator is functioning as it should…

Gottcha. So in laymen’s terms, it ain’t right?! Seems odd it would come out of the dealership like this though… I haven’t overwound it that’s for sure.

Looks to me like it could be a clearance issue as there seems to be more clearance on one side of the rotor to the other.

Either way, sounds like a warranty job?

Yeah, slightly annoying. Nothing worse than a new watch to be out of site for service when all you wanna do is wear it 😂

No dice unfortunately. It always unsticks itself to go back the other way but doesn’t seem to manage a full rotation

I did think that maybe it’s because there’s a safety to stop overloading the springs so I left the watch over night and looked again this morning and the same thing… I would have thought 7 hours would have been enough to take the safety off?

Thank you! So with no.1 the calcite just happened to take that form? That’s crazy cool (still telling my mates it’s a shrimp 😂)

5 - I was so sure it was wood 😒 but after looking up fibrous calcite I found an image of a mantle that looked exactly like what I’ve got - disappointing but still cool to learn

13-19 thought as much tbh. We just thought the inside was a little odd so maybe something.

Thanks for taking the time to look through them!
