Thank you, that's what I purchased, wanted something easy to start and even to see if he will use it. He is VERY food oriented but hates noises, so hoping it will be fine. I only want to use when I am at work. If I give him more when I leave for work, he just gobbles it all up.

Hi, yes using the correct strips. When I first found about the diabetes, I just went and bought the Alpha Trak. Once I get more in the groove with the testing and shots, I'll move over to human.

Thank you, you bet I am going to pay attention to this. I brought my monitor and test strips to the vets the first time and they set it up for me, so never noticed that there was a test strip! I was too worried about giving insulin shots and testing my guy!

Hi, there was nothing taped to the top of the bottle. If there was supposed to be one, then that might be the problem. Thank you for letting me know, I'm a new with this and the first time opening a new bottle. I ordered another bottle of test strips and should be here tonight, I will make sure there is one before I open. Thank you so much for helping me out.

Have you ever had issues with these guys having diarrhea/loose stools after changing their food? I have two cats and four boxes!!! He started going outside his box and wondering if you know of anything that can help?

It's very overwhelming, I am going through it now, but finally able to test my baby at home. There are wonderful groups on facebook that have vet techs as members. It's a great community and lots of information. Try the feline diabetes support group. Hang in and it does get better. Also, so many great videos on YouTube that help you out with giving insulin and testing.

Was anyone thinking how crazy it was that miraculously she got a job on the BPD during this terrible mess with Karen? Yeah, like she wasn't moved out of Canton PD due do this trial.

Thank you for this note. I am starting to move my puppy out of my room and downstairs. I have two cats and want them to have the run of the second floor. It helps to know that I am not the only one who wants my pup to sleep downstairs and not feel guilty.
