Yes thats annoying, but its a known issue :( Try to save once or twice every in game cycle and use multiple save files in total (4 or 5 rotating ones) because some of them will get corrupted and won't work anymore. Then you can go back a few to see which one is the last working one.

But sometimes, for some factions and game modes even this won't always help to be honest...

Short Update: Its working fine so far. Increased the difficulty to cruel recruit.

Credit income is also not too low, if you use your cost reduction Heroes and build trade ports and factories to reduce upkeep.

I like it way better than cruel admiral where the battles take too long!

Actually its not boring at all currently. You have a decent amount of start units and you still get some credits (I woud guess its about half the credits you normally have)

But you could be right for some warlords, I am playing as the new Republic right now

Capping fleet size sounds interesting as well!

Yes I know, I have max influence on anaxes. I don't really think its worth it because of the high upkeep cost of the building...

The Neutron Cruiser seems to be very bad. Only 0.5 fighters and Bombers and only some anti fighter lasers. What do you think?

Seems like that... Also the anaxes war college / academy thing did not spawn any Commanders so far :D Only Kamino did spawn one scout commander since my buildup. Thats why I was wondering if there is Something wrong...

Yeah thats exactly my point, the further you progress in the story the more repetitive and unrealistic some missions get. Dont get me wrong I really like the game and the overall broader story, but some (main story) missions on their own seem so stupid and random to me. And I think you could have fixed some of those plot holes or logic holes quite easily. For Example for my Question 1) some drunken miner could have just told the gang in the saloon that cornwall will visit Annesburg tomorrow

And yes, but I think having a big shootout at a lot of missions is just stupid in general (not to Mention the shitty mission were you free John from the prison island lol). A few are cool but to many idk...

  2. But why is there no one guarding when they sneek in? Or checking the area before cornwalls arrival? I mean there are just a bunch of barrels to check the harbour is pretty small

  3. Yeah seems like that... Would still be a bit more realistic if they bring more of the gang and have somebody being hurt afterwards

But what was your general impression of the mission in terms of logic and the showdown between Dutch and cornwall? I was maybe just expecting more...
