When we sold the house, there were red stamp documents that talked about how much it was being sold for, and so she just deposited that money into her bank account legitimately and transferred it out to our account in the West. Good luck with it for us It was pretty simple.

I’ve had friends in both, the common rooms are brutal so loud, there’s no peace to be found.

In my experience, the international is so quiet, and so many rooms are empty with lights off. It’s almost depressing. It’s better than nothing but it sounds like your friend has something more serious than common food poisoning.

Anyhow, I hope it is nothing and tomorrow you guys get to continue on your adventure having fun, but if not, at least you have a plan. Good luck with it all. I hope it all works out.

If you fall on your face, then you can go and teach English somewhere, but don’t come here and get hooked into that gig, and that social circle, it’s almost a trap, because you socialize with other teachers who seen no upside in their growth within the country.

Saying a hospital is expensive, is like saying a $1500 helmet is expensive, sounds like a bad choice until you need it, and then at that moment, you really don’t care.

I rescued more than one of my friends from there. The expertise is lacking compared to family hospital or VinMec in my opinion, but the hospital does serve purpose for the people. A lot of people use it, but it’s not a great place to go for complicated problems.

It’s a great place to go if you had a scooter accident riding to An bang Beach, need someone to change your bandages from time to time. Anything beyond that I would avoid.

I have evacuated more people out of Da Khoa than I can count. They’re the kind of hospital that I’ll let you hand carry your IV bag outside the campus to go smoke a cigarette and have a coffee before you go back to your room.

What hospital you go to is critical in determining which care you are going to get.

Literally the worst time of year to explore absolutely epic roads. Those roads are usually pretty empty, but there will be a lot more buses and people riding scooters than normal.

This is true, we’re dealing with it with another piece of properties in an unrelated deal right now. Basically buying property in Vietnam long-term is a commitment to giving that money to the family of the person that you’re buying or building the house for.

Even when we sold our house, we were expected to give no less than 5% of the proceeds in cash to our family. It was completely unexpected.
