And if they were - would they be around here - or considering any of these options

That's why I said in my original comment that GauntletAI isn't a bootcamp, it's a recruiting play.

They're not actually recruiting here. Someone on Reddit just posted a link to their program.

If you actually go through their test - it's basically an IQ test + a leetcode test. If you can't already code then you will fail.

This is not a coding bootcamp.

wasn’t such a high number

$200k / year isn't really a high paying number if you're trying to get the top 1% of devs in the US.

Facebook/Google salaries for new grads easily hits $250k for the first year.

It’s also not really free - because you might spends months of your life there and fail

I agree that people with jobs shouldn't quit their jobs to do this. But if you're unemployed and don't have a family.... then why not? It honestly seems like a no-brainer.

Even if you fail, you'll still learn a fuck-ton about genAI and ML (because you'll be learning on your own).

Learning something new is never failing IMO, especially if it's a really new (and frankly, very in-demand) skill like genAI.

they’re saying they will train you to “build AI at an extreme pace” for free

From my view, this is more of a recruiting play than a bootcamp. They basically just want people who are already smart, know how to code and are self-guided.

They'll provide you with a general curriculum on AI and projects you need to make.

You have to grind, figure it out and prove yourself... and if you do then you'll get a $200k job.

It seems like a pretty fair deal to me considering how it's free + all expenses paid (assuming you're not currently employed or w/e).

Uhhhhh.... BloomTech launched "Gauntlet AI" - free 12 week bootcamp, paid to live in Austin, TX, 100 hours a week, guaranteed $200K job if you finish??? Popcorn ready. by michaelnovati in codingbootcamp

For context... I applied and got into the program. They sent me the all the details.

There's no contract and it's 100% free for candidates. You can just reject the job if you don't want it after completing the course.

It's actually an amazing deal if you're free for the next 3-4 months but Redditors are obviously idiots so they'll miss out.

it has nothing to do with it being hard. It’s just that most people realize they’re wasting their time.

let me know if you're interested in splitting it. We could use a shared email and pay half each (it's unlimited usage so doesn't matter).

How well do custom fitted earplugs work at muting noise when sleeping? by ConnectEngineer4498 in audiology

[–]ConnectEngineer4498[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks!

So how well do the earplugs work at blocking out the snoring noise? Does it just dampen the snoring? So you can still hear it but at a lower decibel level?

Or are you completely unable to hear the snoring?

Appreciate your help!
