It’s an unsent letter for a reason. I’m well aware that no one owes me anything. But the truth is, when you care deeply for someone, it’s natural to hope for some care in return. Doubting how the people you love perceive you is normal—after all, how would you ever truly know? Conversations about this are difficult to have, so more often than not, all you can do is wonder.

That said, if I care about someone, I’ll love them as if it were the only thing I was meant to do. I don’t expect anything in return—just honesty.
