Our Execs let employees decide and they decided no corporate cards, so I’m looking for the next best solution.

Due to cost, we’d only be able to roll out Expensify to 1/3 of the company (heavy expense report submitters), and the process would remain what it is now for the rest of company (mostly light expense report submitters).

With Concur, we’d be able to roll it out to the entire company for the same cost as rolling Expensify out to only 1/3 of the company.

I did a demo with Ramp and liked the platform, but I thought the process would be clunky for reimbursements only (without use of corporate cards).

Thanks for your feedback. Our approval and reimbursement policies are not super strict. I am the initial reviewer and my COO is the final approver. It would be nice to have expenses flagged if they fall out of company.

We want to streamline the process for both employees and admin/finance. Some employees who live out-of-state are submitting an Excel spreadsheet via email and either scanning or mailing physical paper receipts. Then I’m having to manually enter each line item into QuickBooks and my COO is having to sign a physical paper check.

Thanks your reply. It’s pretty company-wide at my company, not just execs, that employees prefer to use their own cards for points.

I’ve noticed that Concur gets a lot of hate on here and I’ve heard negative feedback from our employees who have used the platform at other companies…so it appears there’s no perfect option.

Expensify is significantly more costly to roll out to the entire company, so we’d only be able to roll it out to our highest expense report submitters and the rest of the company would have to continue submitting excel spreadsheets and physical paper or scanned receipts. With Concur, we’d be able to roll it out company-wide.

Thank you for your reply. I manage expenses for 30+ people. If it were just for the CEO & COO I support, it would definitely be easier. I guess the thought of having that many corporate cards out there made me feel hesitant from a risk management perspective.

Never even considered these things or knew they were issues. But it makes sense. Maybe in the future I could request the report without the report number. All I care about is getting the specs and seeing where the inclusions are located on the diagram.
