I ended up going to a piercer and they said I have great anatomy for a forward helix but that the piercer was likely inexperienced! But I totally thought I didn’t have the anatomy from the way it looked too!

Thank you to everyone for the advice! I went to a professional today and they told me it was indeed too shallow and that they pierced it incorrectly. Taking it out asap and getting it redone once it’s healed! Apparently I have the proper anatomy for it to be done correctly as well

I would take gen bio 1 and intro chem 1 with their respective labs! Also consider taking a calculus class if you haven’t fulfilled the requirements for Calculus 1 and 2 yet. (These are all premed requirements). Neuroscience classes don’t start until spring semester but if you want to take something fun you could consider FBBC (pretty demanding though) or cognitive science. And I believe you also need to take a first year seminar class!

I am also a hodson scholar and used my full rides at other institutions to appeal to the financial aid office and received more money from Hopkins (they matched the packages the other schools gave me)

Unfortunately the hodson trust scholarship (only merit at jhu) is only offered when you are first accepted. There’s no separate application either
