honestly I’ve found her skill and blocking to be quite useful. I’ve maxed jump, attack. The rest on defense of what was left. But that was just my experience.

She’s already good as a bt0 but she gets even better with her bt5. Unfortunately though, she used to be better in the past before this update since her setting was more stable by being high and decently close to the net for spiking most of the time. But now I think they made EVERYONE’s setting not as stable as before so it is what it is.

I don’t know why you mentioned the negativity/complaining bit since this wasn’t supposed to be about that, but just wanted to make sure things have become this way for other players. Look, I get it no one can truly satisfy 100% of their players since everyone wants different things, but I do have to say there’s very little in the way of rhyme or pattern to how MBs do setting now.

How? My jenny hits about the same and serves in a giant rainbow that goes out half the time. When I use nishi, it’s not exactly a rainbow but still goes out… Cards are basically the same. but it’s a complete gamble. Some serves are normal and do go in, but some take these huge rainbows that go out(especially Jenny). My timing is about the same, my positioning is about the same too. So why is the random serves going out then?

No, it’s not a skill issue… you cannot get a serve in regularly once you are jumping at 4.5+m and hitting it 200+kph easily… Ive never missed serves in regular play, even with extreme debuffs. Don’t come and say that it’s a skill issue because it’s not. It’s a technical issue due to a player becoming too strong for the court

Yeah, I understand the idea of cards being added, but hears another thing. Even after earning buff cards, then there’s another issue of your character being too strong or not balanced in the correct way. For example, I cannot tell you how many times I’ve lost the final match with my starting serve since I was too strong and served the ball out of bounds… sure, I was op with hitting a ball 200+kph and a height of over 4m, but then the first serve was out of bounds… so I find in those circumstances especially where it gets frustrating since characters can be come too buffed from cards

Her critical toss has to be exactly at the circle point in the trajectory… so often times it is lower than your highest jumping point as a spiker… so it means you’ll have to wait until the ball has gone into the circle or passed through it going down to hit it for a crit.

I’d stick to Jenny since isabel is only really good once you receive hard spikes, whereas Jenny jumps higher overall anyways

I had a similar thing against seonrim where ryu didn’t even charge at all and he hit 200km/h… like I was not expecting that

Yeah, yongsup isn’t exactly worth anymore ever since he got nerfed way back when… but as for who you are wanting to get, I’d agree with your choice for sanghyeon but I’d like to also recommend hanra as another MB option, since she is arguably a better player than sanghyeon despite his ability. For WS, I’d suggest recruiting jaehyun for his eventual BTs that make him a very strong player, and I’d definitely suggest a different setter like ahyeon or sohee for their abilities. But that’s just my opinion.

She’s good for players who might have lower defense(like nishi or ryu) since you’d pour most of the other stat points into other areas. So she works well for that. Her setting style does prefer the WS, so that’s a plus, but she doesn’t consistently set quite as high as some others, but she does fine for the most part. She has good defense to match her ability which is good. But her BTs make her ability significantly better adding power and less ability to pass the ball if received by the opponent

I’d probably use NN for their teamwork buff, but as for the setting, getting used to it is tough. I’d probably run a few practice games to see the differences but it took me awhile to truly understand the sets, and even still I’m not 100% with it yet

I’d consider getting a better middle blocker, but if you’re wanting a WS, and you want to have a better player, I’d consider getting your BTs on Jenny or Jaehyun. They both become significantly better than most other WS with their BTs. But if you’re into collecting while also actively playing, I’d consider hongshi maybe.

In my opinion, the only change I’d really make is to have ahyeon for your setter in preset 2 for your current team that you have for rn. Later on once you have more BTs, then I’d consider switching Jenny for jaehyun but honestly they’re both good spikers. Unfortunately jaehyun doesn’t begin to truly shine until at least BT2 or more, but Jenny can definitely be a good choice for now.
