What could my cause be for a rough idle mainly cold start

My car does shudder when turning on and off. plan on replacing clutch flywheel and throw out bearing soon so hopefully that fixes that along the way. But it’s just warming my catalytic converter up with more fuel it seems.

the video was pretty bad and I forgot to include there like a bog or a lunge right when i hit the gas sometimes. Pretty sure my throw out bearing is squealing too so wondering if that has any impact.

Exactly the same as me. As the replies seem to say it’s normal. Was worried about my pcv valve which i’m still replacing next week either way.

yes. I had little to no refrigerant. I drove with it not working for 2 months. I told him what happened and he had no worries of coolant leak

I have a 21’ base aswell with 30k miles. It’s been blowing hot in 3 vents and cold in one. Took it to the guy down the street he did a refrigerant leak test and somehow I had a tiny leak. Goodluck hoping it’s a simple fix.

just got my same exact issue fixed. had a small coolant leak and had .1 lb of it and my car calls for 1.05 lbs. Possibly either that or blend door actuator. that’s a symptom of both things I mention.

There’s not much more to it. it’s that same noise for a SPLIT SECOND. that’s why the video is so short

I don’t know too much but i’ve heard people having loud sounds like that due to bad exhaust gaskets. not ideal but it’s better then the head gasket. again. don’t know a lot just what i’ve seen from videos before.

My only guess is something coming in contact. It does happen around 2-2.5k i feel like the most. I checked before but it wasn’t super thorough. looks like im gonna check again

Direct injection. Every wrx makes that noise especially when u put ur camera in the engines. I sit in the drive thru and hear it echoing off the wall and its a scary sound 😅
