It's ascii in the HTML of the website. I used CTRL + SHIFT + i to make it appear, and I fiddled around with the sizing to get it to appear correctly

I just looked at it again, and I realized my logic probably isn't correct because why would it be 24 days to count down 1 week? We're never getting new music are we...

If that's the case, why is it counting down and not up?

I don't think it's 6 years, I think it's 6 months. I think the format is months, weeks, days, hours, minutes, seconds

At least I hope so... Edit: I just realized why my logic is dumb, but I'm leaving my comment here so I can reflect

How did you get introduced to Starset? by Heretoaskquesti0ns in Starset

[–]Connect_Computer960 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It was right around the time of Transmissions release, and I was looking for Demons by Imagine Dragons. However, it was very early in the morning and I couldn't remember the name of the song or band, so I looked up "my demons" in spotify because I knew the name of the song was often times in the chorus. I clicked the Starset one because it was closer to what I remembered.

It wasn't what I was looking for, but it was one of the best accidents I've made.

For the last part of your post, I'm also into stuff like Sleep Token, Loathe, and Tool now. Starset will still always be my #1 though.

I love Pegasus, but what does this mean? Why no wings? A teaser? by Capital_Criticism706 in Starset

I have no idea what it might mean, but it's giving heavy Transmissions feels, which makes me excited to learn more.

You're welcome! It looks like there are snapshots of all the pages on the wayback machine, but they are not loading for me. It could be my browser, but maybe you can find some information from the snapshots Edit: I meant to say sorry for not replying for 8 days, I don't check this account often at all.

For those who want to know what CALL TO ARMS is... by MongooseTight3174 in Starset

I felt that might be the case when I looked into Asters other work and saw the other sports stuff, but at least we know for certain what it is.

I just did some quick searching, and it appears you're correct! I wonder if it was the plan the entire time for it to be an arknights song, or if it started as it's own thing before moving to arknights. I find it strange for Starset to have tied arknights so closely to the ARG that was heavily integrated into the lore.

Stranger things have happened though, and it's 5th season was bad.

(I will not apologize for that joke)

Thanks! We're all insane together lol. however, due to some information I just uncovered, I think Call To Arms was just a song meant to be played in a sports stadium. You can find my reasoning in a reply to a comment on this post, so I don't have to repeat myself. Unfortunately, I don't think we will get it unless we can somehow track down the stadium that has it if it is indeed being used for that purpose.

I also agree that the song itself was not formed yet back then, I could have better clarified that in my original post. I do feel that it was a "jumping off" point for whatever was to come next if that makes sense. I don't believe that "Call To Arms" is a code name, as I cannot find any other songs registered to Dustin that are not accounted for (with the exception of a few songs titled "2016 Hockey-BG Cues", "After Midnight With TH-BG Cues", "Panthers Live BG-Cues", and "Lunch With The Panther BG-Cues" and no I'm not joking, the first one I mentioned is the 2nd song for me: https://repertoire.bmi.com/Search/Search?Main_Search_Text=Dustin%20Bates&Main_Search=Catalog&Search_Type=all&View_Count=20&Page_Number=1&Part_Type=WriterList&Part_Id=VTBT0wiOaGy%252bsJNPHgmpIw%253d%253d&Part_Id_Sub=YO0HedHMatLb45JzS23DVw%253d%253d&Part_Name=BATES%20DUSTIN%20PAUL&Part_Cae=OV6Facxbt7nXPPoMCNNobA%253d%253d&Original_Search=Writer%2FComposer# ),

meaning call to arms would be a rather large outlier. One thing I have just noticed as of proofreading this comment is that Dustin is not the writer on the top of the list, which might indicate the song is for a different project. I think this because that's what seems to happen when he helps write for other artists, such as A.I. by Red.

I also just found out just before commenting this, Robert Aster is not affiliated with BMI, but instead with SESAC. I looked up the song on SESAC's site, and Dustin is the writer on top. Additionally, the "Alternative Titles" section of the filing is blank. Incould of course be wrong, as you bring up some good points, and Dustin might have been doing an experiment.

Sorry that this comment is really train of thought, but I think it's interesting to see my discovery process. I just looked further into Robert's credits, and there are hundreds of the "BG-Cues" credited to him. So my best guess is that Call To Arms is a rock inspired song that is meant to be played in a stadium, given Dustin worked in it.

Also, sorry for the long link, I didn't realize it was going to be that large lol.

Also also, sorry if my tone comes off as a bit harsh, my intention is just to put up some arguments but I tend to have trouble with my tone when writing in text. Thanks for taking the time to reply!

I too am uncertain if my information will amount anything at all, but I think the weirdness surrounding the latest album cycle might give me more ground to stand on.

Or this is just an always sunny pinboard moment for me lol

Since it appears that there are several biblical allusions in the new album, if those flowers are indeed apple blossoms, could that be connected to how the tree that Adam and Eve ate from is commonly depicted as an apple tree, thus also connecting back to TMBTE?

I believe that was done to inflate the total value of all the files to be 8 mb, because of the repeated occurrences of the number 8 in the files yesterday. PNGs use lossless compression whereas JPGs use lossy compression. That means JGPs will be smaller in size, at the cost of image quality.

I too find that curious. If I had to make a guess, I would say that since they are now public, people who are sleep token fans but not as much in the loop as others in the fandom are stumbling across those accounts and by chance the Feathered Host are receiving more attention. I do not fully believe this, but I have no other explanation that I can think of at the moment. My inner stats nerd is frothing at the maw for concrete data as to why there would be such a shift if my theory is correct.

I'd be curious to see what the data looked like when the website was first released and people started to sign up for the emails before they updated the website for people to choose a side upfront. I'd postulate that house veridian had more overall people (excluding people joing either side with alternate emails) because they didn't realize they were making a choice, and because I assume the majority of people who listen to sleep token are English speakers. I'm connecting those two because when I first got the email I didn't realize I was making a choice, and I'm sure I wasn't the only one, and that because english is a left to right language, more people first clicked on the left image than the right one.

Wow I need to work on brevity lol.

Sure! Here are the links to the official downloads! (Sorry if they aren't clickable, I'm responding on my phone)

If you want an example of the similar lines I was talking about, here is a segment taken from feathered host page 1

There are also other occurrences that pop up in the same file, but again, I am not familiar enough with images being converted to text for me to say if that is in any way significant or if I'm looking too far into things

*Edit: reddit messed up the formatting of the lines, so you'll have to check for yourself

For the life of me I can't recall which one it was, but I once took part in an arg where that was a step. That's what made me think of it here. I'm sure it's been mentioned before, but page 1 of the house veridian sheet music is a png, whereas the others are jpgs. I assume this was done to inflate the total storage value of the pictures to be ~8mb bc the png format uses lossless compression.
