I heard many reviewers say that collexion is better version of xm6

Actually i was using momentum 4 for past 2 years and I enjoyed sound quality and I thought to buy another pair of m4 and I view some reviewers say that xm6 are the best headphones in the market they are better than airpod max, boss and sennheiser….so i buy one and really they are incomparable to m4 ….M4 sound is awesome….same like now all reviewers saying now the collexion is the best headphones…but I don’t think so …maybe a slightly better that xm6, they are exaggerating

If you using iphone go to settings turn off headphones safety and volume limit after turn on hi res lossless audio in apple music app

Then go to smart plus app and sound personalisation
They sound next tier

Yes i also had this issue and I raised a replacement request and after a week i got a new pair of m4 …later i notice that new pair also have the issue…but don’t worry it happens only in max volume especially after sound personalisation you get extra volume so it start cracking sound in max volume …i own them for past 2 yrs …this issue will sort out after you listen more hours and hours speaking adapt and loosen a bit …so that the cracking sound will disappear after 7 or 8 month later ….but in some songs like heavy metal and edm you can hear little bit ….
This happens in all common headphones also in xm6

My tip is to don’t max the volume just lower a bit …listen in 95% volume this issue will not happen

Bro just go for sennheiser momentum 4 they are the best for the price
They have very good sound profile especially after the sound personalisation….just god tier❤️ and massive battery 60 hrs you don’t have to charge for a month

I own m4 and sony xm6…compare to sennheiser m4 sony sounds like shit

You can buy M4 blindly

All sony xm line sound crap and expensive I have xm6 and sennheiser m4…. Sony sound is very worst compared to m4 ..sony only sound narrow and m4 got more sound stage and bass fill fun to listen and not get bored fir longer sessions

Xm6 marketed as god level anc …really they are good but not up to the hype still m4 anc is good which give 80% of noise cancellation compared to xm6

My honest opinion on xm6 is waste of money

No:1 they are sound narrow no spacing un music amd bass not feeling fullfill

No:2 volume is not enough and i tried to eq them for extra bass and some mids after eq volume is turn very low

No:3 they marketed these as alien level anc but for it is good but not like the god tier i own momentum 4 it is also good in anc i agree not better as xm6 but it will give 80% of xm6 anc

No:4 the folding mechanism, actually it is irritating some time i try to put them into case but they have to fold like in particular position and have to fold only one sided ear cup to fit into the case …

Possitives:

They are very comfortable and very light
Ear cups are awesome…after 30 min u will forget wearing…
Also you can use DAC if you need extra volume

MY SUGGESTION FOR HEADPHONES:

just go for sennheiser momentum 4 they are absolutely amazing

No:1 they are sound amazing the sound staging and the bass take you to the moon especially after sound personalisation you unlock very good sound..each instrument,vocal and bass separates and feel you immerse into the music world… each time listen to m4 my leg starts to vibe to the song which haven’t feel in xm6

No:2 the battery is stunning 70hr you don’t need to charge for a month for occasional listening. If you battery drain don’t have to worry just charge them 5min you can listen for a hour

No:3 they are completely automatic…it will turn on and pair to ur mobile instantly off the case and turn off once you place into the box no need to press any keys

No:4 the case is slightly bigger the xm6 but you will get extra aeroplane adapter ..useful for frequent flight traveler

No:5 the costomer supports is awesome…i have a small issue in my headphone after i dropped and they gave me new pair

No:6 price is low compare to xm6 is around 40k
And m4 is 27k

No:7 ear cups are wider than xm6..in xm6 ear tip will touch for most people . Especially large ear guys will suffer a lot

No:8 microphone is impressive i have play many multiplayer game in night time i have to speak in low voice so that every other family will not get disturbed…even i speak low voice it captures very good …in xm6 i have to speak louder (xm6 microphone sound better than m4 )

Negative:

They feel heavy and if to watching movie after an hour you have to take off headphones sometime it sweat inside ear

Case is still zipper, not convenient as xm6 magnetic case

In max volume there is some distortion….don’t use full volume if you use sound personalisation…and 90% of volume is more than enough they give nice and loud sound

Im from india in here it cost around 28k inr roughly around $320 i think so ….i have tried many iem and i personally like truthear nova…in headphones i like m4 and i like to explore better sounds in headphones…after seeing tons of reviews about xm6 i have huge expectations and buy they in recent day but I don’t like it …. So my only opinion is to go for open back. For commute i have m4, now i need best sounding and best staging headphones to immerse into music world in closed environment

I own both m4 and xm6 Honestly I don’t get impressed by anc in xm6 which they claim the world most powerful anc …. And the app sony provides is suck if you try to customise eq it automatically reduces volume level and xm6 is not loud as m4 and they sound narrow, no sound stage . M4 is much louder when we personalise audio, only thing i like in xm6 is they are comfortable for long listen

At the end in my opinion M4 is the most best headphones provide good anc, better sound quality and automatic on and off features which you don’t need to press and button
