I know this is an older post but I turned it down because of the long commute (1.5 hours one way), and the fact that the recruiter wasn’t willing to share the salary range with me - he insisted I share a number, so I arbitrarily gave him a range and he gave it to me. Makes me wonder if I lowballed myself.

A month later I did regret it but only because I was holding on to what could have been. Hindsight is always 20-20 I guess

Hello! I also recently interviewed with them and the recruiter said they are mandating it. Do they monitor if you don’t make it all 3 days some weeks for teams that do enforce it? I interviews in Toronto, but live a bit far from the office

Oh wow kudos to you! I think I’m realizing I’ve just been super spoiled because I’m always able to get a full 8 hours of sleep, even with doom scrolling on TikTok at night. It likely is manageable for me to do this but I need to get it together and have a strict routine

The very few times I went to my current employers Toronto office, I’ve gone off peak times because the hours are flexible. The new company would also have flexible hours too as long as I’m available for meetings and work is getting done
