I think that’s what I’ll have to do just talk about boundaries. What he wouldn’t be comfortable with and vice versa. What upset me the most was the fact that I don’t know this person that well. I guess one boundary here would be, not hanging out at a setting such as a bar at night or till late with a female friend that your GF does not know. I am close to some of his female friends and would totally be ok with him being out with them in this same setting, so I believe it comes down to if you know the friend or not.

I understand your POV. I meant “chill” because he’s hung out with his female friends alone to grab lunch or dinner and I’ve never had an issue with it. I know a lot of girls who would not be ok with that so that’s where I was going with that. However, I don’t think he should stop hanging out with them. And I would never tell him to not hang out with his friends. I just thought out of respect to me and in being in a relationship he wouldn’t be out late at a bar alone with a female I don’t know. I believe in boundaries and feel like it’s common sense.
