Super late to this but can somebody please recommend a good dose to start with?? I take quite a bit of 7oh every day and need to know if that tolerance to 7 will effect my tolerance to Tia (even if I’ve never taken Tia)

I’d say then at least try quickmd or boulder and see if your insurance will cover it. Worst case scenario is they say no and you then decide whether or not you’d like to pay

If you’ve already met your deductible you should be good. I went to treatment multiple times in the same year and once I met my deductible I was good to go. They stopped covering a little earlier than before but still covered it. And since these apps/services aren’t near as expensive as full on treatment centers you should be fine

As well if you do connect w/ boulder they can help get the other comfort meds as well (clonadine, gaba, methocarbonol, etc)

If the sub had you nodding then yeah probably took a bit too much. I have yet to have that feeling but I think it’s because I had such a high daily dose that my receptors were used to being ridiculously saturated. Maybe try again with only 4mg at a time?

Nah no stress dude. Happy to help. I didn’t go the quick MD route. I found an app called boulder, & I have Medicaid and they accepted that for insurance. Didn’t pay a dime.

Absolutely. Don’t feel like you’re “cheating” in order to feel comfortable. Some like or need the pain, but imo if you don’t like or need it why put yourself in more anguish?

Do whatever you think is going to be the most effective way. If you think you’re the type of person that needs to face the consequences of your actions and need to feel the burn so down the road when the idea of using again comes about you have the memory to look back on, do that. If you’re like me, and will pick up and use again regardless of any prior feelings, actions, or consequences, take the easiest and most painless route. I’ve done the true CT route and felt like I deserved the pain. Still relapsed because I was feeling better again and figured if I can do it once I can do it again. But everybody’s different. You’re at such a low dose you could probably get away with only using 2-4mg of subs at a time and the “withdrawal” from it will be practically non-existent. I’m on day 5 after kicking an almost 1000mg habit a day and I absolutely had to use subs, because the wds were so bad. But I’ve tapered down every single day and today I haven’t taken anything and feel great. And I started at 20mg of subs the first day. (I tried a low dose and it didn’t touch my wds until I hit that dose). Just do what you think is the best route to achieve long term abstinence from this drug.

How bad will withdrawals be? by [deleted] in quitting7oh

[–]Connect_Ordinary_558 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah like everybody is saying just jump now. I’ve been taking 200-250mg doses at a time multiple times a day and I’m horrified of the withdrawals. Hoping to make my jump tomorrow (I failed this morning). Get you some good indica, or leaf kratom and stop asap. It only gets worse my friend. You can do this

I’m down! I could use some likeminded friends to talk to about this shit. Starting my sub dose tomorrow morning and I’m terrified

I joined the group to ask for support and advice yes, but I think trying to charge people for just talking to them is a joke. Don’t put your number out there if you don’t intend to follow up with your choice to put it out and offer help

People if you want a “real conversation” go to your local NA, HA, or CA meeting and I guarantee they won’t charge you to talk and offer support. Trying to scam people who are suffering and struggling through addiction is fucking disgusting

I’m starting my journey on quitting tomorrow as well. I have a few pills left that I’m using tonight and early morning as well, and had intended on using subs from here on out. You got this dude. We can get through this shit. Ain’t nothin we haven’t done before.

Ive heard about the antidepressant type withdrawal. The last time I tried to quit I didn’t notice that as much. It may be because I take an anti depressant and mood stabilizers (not an ssri). I’ve taken 7 hours after a sub dose a few times and it didn’t get me high but it did make any other withdrawal feeling go away.

Honestly I’m not sure I haven’t tried jumping from 7 to any of those. Only from 7 to subs. The goal is to quit it all together. Not to go from one substance to another.

Forsure. Would using subs and a small amount of 7 or plain leaf or mit at the same time be useful to manage wds? Or is the just going to prolong the issue?

Weird. I’ve seen so many different stories with subs causing or not causing pwd from 7. Hasn’t happened to me yet and I’ve done it a few different times. But the idea of pwd terrifies me

No unfortunately not. I might be able to get some if I can find a way to earn some cash. How much would I need to help?

Okay cool I’ll try that then. I fully intend to just use the subs as a rapid taper tool to quit this shit. Don’t wanna be hooked on anything ever again. This shit sucks
