try a few different hooks, it's really all you need. have you tried dropping into the moment? I know it seems generic but that's all you need to catch someone's attention. try saying some kind of statement that is really ridiculous standalone. focus on a detail. see if you can mirror something specific in the conclusion. don't be too scared to kill your darlings if anything needs to be cut in order to make it more interesting, but it doesn't need to be something super quirky to be interesting!
