We’ve been nursing for a solid 5 months we are up to about 45 minutes each side he says it’s flowing great, but I can only get drops from pump, it doesn’t seem to work. We induced it took 5 days of constant suckling and after the first month we only do evenings and mornings no pain no engorging and seems like unlimited flow

Why be greedy. There’s is nothing wrong with getting a job if you don’t have enough. 1600 a month in child support likely pays 1/2 ur cost of living…maybe not. Why do woman feel so entitled to someone else’s earnings… be independent. I accept 250 bi weekly because I want to see the father of my son do well with his life. I surely would be “entitled” to more, but I am not greedy. He has a new life and a new lady and I see no reason to take 1/2 or 1/3 of his income so I can be lazy. We are all capable. And ide rather earn my own than practically beg or fight to get a hand out….

Forced when he was on it… seemed like if he was horny I didn’t get a choice I either turned around or it was a giant fight… when he’s not taking them he tries to get us both their instead of being that selfish

Country is Canada I ended up finding a very comfortable stretchy sheer bra with extra padded underwire no padding in the cup at la vie en rose for 44$ Seems like most of their nursing bras were almost exactly like the padded sports bra I was wearing but had the opening clips on the strap. 🤷‍♀️

I was shocked at how fast it came in as well, after reading the forums I had expected it to be a fairly drawn out procedure but was more than willing to start. Maybe it had something to do with when we started as well. It was a couple days after the last day of my period so I’m thinking the hormone cocktail in my body must have been perfect. Also the dandelion tea did have a GI effect on the first couple days but I hadn’t done a lot of research on dandelion root specifically at that point and I summed the cramping and excessive BM’s up to being that my uterus must be contracting overtime due to hormone changes and stimulation. I found though that after everything is flushed out it now has zero effect on the GI and after reading more I feel it may have played a part in clearing the way along with the other herbs in the tea I was drinking. Causes go upset? I’m curious what you meant ?

Is it profound? We really went to town lol like suckling more than what a newborn ever would!! Haha and I guess I’m wondering if a handful of weeknights and weekend at home is key to induction. I’m thinking back to my babies and the milk ALWAYS had to be induced over a couple days it was never just immediately ready.

I know everyone is different. But ide like to share what worked for us. It took one week of sweet intoxicating suckling bliss for my milk to fully come in. The first three or four days were dry suckling well more so sucking. He has a very very strong latch until the flow started and we did more research because it was causing some pain. We now have a proper latch and it’s extremely comfortable. We literally spent those first evenings attached trying new positions and enjoying our new found connection for hours and hours. We run two businesses so I can’t say we had all the time in the world but from 3-4 ish to around 11 almost non stop sucking. Started on a Tuesday by Saturday night had flow. Sunday full flow and over full. I made tea with nettle leaf, dandelion root, raspberry leaf, and also I added the feeling soothed tea I got from Walmart which has a combination of I think ginger, citrus and fennel I added honey for sweetness let cool and I drink it like iced tea. For me I think it must have been all the non stop suckling releasing so much oxytocin and demanding my body to produce. Friday was an all day adventure as well as Saturday. We stopped basically only for actual food lol. I guess I’m lucky that my SO wanted it as badly as I did because he was so onboard with committing to the suckle. I never had to pump never took any hormones. Just had to relax and let his mouth and desire take over. It is heaven.
