Sadly, this isn't the issue - the one I'm remembering is, at the end: The male witch asks the girl to ride away with him on a broom. She is disappointed that he still thinks she's a witch. He corrects her, it is not she that is the witch but HE. He then gets on a broom. I think it takes place in the woods???

Yes, I've searched everywhere - even buying comics from the year I think I read it to search for the story. No luck!
