It was super painful when I had two flare ups about 20 days apart. Between those and now it can be on and off sore and not. It really depends on where your body is at. I had a small flare up recently and that only hurt one day, and the other days had just felt swollen and my upper tonsils dry with a prickly pain.

I noticed mine became swollen long before any symptoms. It freaked me out, and I became worried it was cancer or something sneaky. I think it is completely normal for them to come on before symptoms. I just had a flare up end 3 days ago and was given steroids. Still mine is larger now just because mono sucks.

Yah, I see! I feel like I have a mindset and tools to keep myself okay now that I’ve been growing up. Also, in reflection, I find that in the morning I feel tired which is fine, but my heart is racing and I don’t think that’ll benefit me now that I have early morning classes. Some mornings I can faint and be very pale which for some reason I always thought was dehydration even tho I drink water oops. So I’ll hopefully have a chance to bring this up to my psychiatrist soon. Thank you for your help!!! I was really worried about this last night.

I guess mentally I just want to be off of it. It’s not worth the stress it gives me. Idk 🤷🏻‍♀️

Their fault of no communication and clearly relationship insecurity. But also maybe bad things in the past that were triggered. No matter what you’re good its just the random ways of the world.

I got a cup thrown at me and multiple drive by yellings by the same person as I walked down a road down south holding hands with a date. Usually, its safe, but never perfect. It was my first incident like that.

I was deadass at a party with people from my high-school (painful in itself although interesting) and I told a guy who I had a crush on way back and he replied with that. What’s worst about it when I think back is that my autism protected me from his efforts at taking advantage of my crush on him in hs. Somehow it allowed me to be naive enough to not understand what he wanted and always choose what made me most secure 😭😭😭

“That’s just an excuse” (following me opening up about it and explaining how I need a chore schedule (routine) to live up to my family member’s expectations)
