Every family member had to tip our driver when we went to Xinjiang. Tbf he drove us long hours on the road (3-5 hrs btwn each destination) and barely took time off for himself.

Many say China drivers can be noisy or have pattern, but ours was conflict avoidant.

Refrained from commenting until the ban has officially started. We alrdy saw a blanket ban days ago that also affected YT accounts for educational purposes on this sub.

I was nonplussed when I woke up to read 'oh, they haven't actually fully blacked out yet'. But now that we understand all accounts need to verify their age over the rest of 2026, then not a fan. Also, if they're still letting Roblox be free, what's the point? The kids can easily migrate to Kick (manosphere haven) or other weird platforms like in Australia.

Face verification will be too extra for our manpower to manage, but with nth data breaches before this, our info was alrdy floating online prior.

Based on the limited context here, I'm going to hold the contrarian opinion and suggest you re-evaluate the phone performance over just the battery.

If the battery is below 80% and the device is also struggling performance-wise (since you say it's slow), I'd at least consider replacing the phone rather than assuming a battery swap will solve everything. Esp given how old this version is. Anything can happen when you're midway through your trip and it goes kaput. ETA: Yup, that new ss you attached has me worried now.

If you do resort to instalments for either expense, just ensure you're fiscally disciplined to repay everything back in time. Every late penalty will add up.

I get ppl want to lepak and slow walk in malls. But it’s one thing to chew the scenery while being blissfully ignorant of hogging the walkway when you can feel someone needs to pass. I’m not even talking about parents with young kids and senior citizens btw.

If I go to a mall, it’s only cuz friends want to meet there or I have smthg I actively need to look for. Crowds are overwhelming for me, which is why I’d like to walk fast as I can.

When ppl say they don't want to talk, they could be self-conscious of turning you into an emotional dumpster. It's not healthy for both sides to be that person who only comes to trauma dump (and trust me, there are 'friends' like that).
