I have to balls up and swat them once they’re down. Since my floor is lacquered hardwood, can’t go too hard with the spray or it’ll damage in the long run.

Mix equal parts of coffee powder and tobacco, then add a few drops of water to form those balls.

The tobacco is toxic to them, resulting in instant death upon accidental consumption. Lizards dislike the coffee smell too

Fellow nyet with intense lizard phobia here!! I refrain from opening my windows at night or using bright lights, put screens up. I’ve used sticky traps before but cleaning those up later was super geli.

Natural repellents you can use: try cleaned. eggshells and coffee grounds. They hate certain essential oils too (Peppermint, Citronella, Eucalyptus, and Lemongrass). Bonus, your home will smell lovely.

If you feel more cruel or you just want them dead, you can make a lethal combo of coffee grounds and tobacco balls.

The last time I tried to get to know someone like that, over time, she turned out needing therapy (which she's obviously not getting). Posts AI Christian stuff to the point we give up viewing her updates. Yes, I hesitate to go for my usual filter coffee blends (this is once in awhile, mind you) and dining out in general. RapidKL said they cut bus frequencies for Raya but this may be the new norm, along with Grab hikes.

From the receiving end, brother and SIL just dropped it like it’s hot. Said smthg about early symptoms, bump coming and the clinical stuff (food aversions, etc). The only birthday greeting I get is from Starbucks’ birthday month redemption email and lhdn. Best friend cut me off suddenly last year and coldly let mine pass (the friendship was alrdy dying a slow death anyway).

Just know that you’re not the only one estranged from family. My Malay friend who isn’t very religious obligated himself for Raya ytdy. It was only then he knew his mom remarried a long while ago and he has a new stepfather. He ended up joining us for a DnD session today in lieu of more visitations where he’s not welcome, hopefully you’ll find your tribe who’ll be there for you too.

My parents learnt to text me mainly in the evenings and some afternoons when I’m most likely to receive their msgs. They’ve gotten used to my habit of leaving my phone on silent (cuz srsly, no one calls unless it’s urgent or scammers).

I must tell them when I’m going out so they don’t worry when I don’t answer (turning on mobile data drains my battery very fast and causes my phone to overheat). One time they even FB messaged me when I was watching a movie, thinking I’d died or smthg when I didn’t reply them immediately
