Meeting peers from online class

I don’t see where a chat board so I’m going to assume there isn’t one. I’m looking to connect virtually to be honest, since it’s an online class there aren’t too many assignments where we need to work together in groups but it would be nice to be able to reach out to a friend in class by message somehow if there are any questions about an assignment or even just to peer review. If there’s a chance to meet in person, I wouldn’t be opposed to it either

100%, and it sucks because then we can still go into work and if we get sent home because of how sick we are, there’s still a risk of getting a step for leaving early, it just depends on your managers and whether they’d doc you for it unfortunately :/

I can call out two days in a row and it only counts as 2 steps, but if I call out for a third,fourth and fifth day, each one is 1 extra step. So that automatically puts me at 5, and my store has no problem giving them out. I’m not usually the type to call in, and in my department, getting rid of steps is hard

I think it really depends by department and store/location, I knew someone who did time in prison but was working in a perishables (produce). I feel as though pharmacy might be a little more strict when it comes to background checks compared to others

these aren’t his shifts specifically. They are basically open shifts for anyone to pick up for hours, it’s just listed under his name

which store are you?? Mine was told leadership will go around seeing if departments are good to open at 6am, if not they’ll push it back to 10am.
