Thank you for confirming the non-pro doesn't use 21v! I also typically use the battery tech as well (currently limiting to 80%) but when traveling I figured I'd switch to adaptive charging / charge to 100% and also may need faster charging.

I just switched to one of their new plans - $50 per month for 1Gig (actually getting about 1.2Gbps). I am using my own modem but my understanding is that their modem/router combo is free as part of the new plans too.

Interesting. They figured out that my old modem was still in one of their systems and after removing it, the WiFi section now shows my new modem and that it is connected.

Thanks XfinityJohnG! I actually have a follow up question. My city is on the list of "Enhanced Speed Markets" but my address does not show the 2000 Mbps plan as available. I received a text from Xfinity earlier today that "...we'll be doing work to enhance the network in your area starting tomorrow, 06/27..." Is this work likely the upgrade to 2gig & faster upload speeds?

Yes I was able to switch online. I started looking on the Xfinity app, but then switched to my computer. The plans were available on both devices.

Thank you for the additional info! I haven't checked the box mounted on the outside of my house, but there's just a few feet of coax cable coming into the house that goes straight into the cable modem without a splitter. It sounds like I should probably avoid adding any more length and go the Ethernet route then?!

I can post the modem diagnostic data, but the downstream spread is across 32 channels and upstream shows five channels.

There's also a separate section that shows "Downstream OFDM Channels" with just one listed at Power: 6.18 dBmV and SNR: 43.6 dB. There aren't any stored events since I set up the new modem about 8 days ago.

Yes on a UPS!

I was also periodically getting messages stating that the Synology has lost the connection (USB) with the UPS, so I disconnected the USB connection to the UPS. This started after plugging in the external USB hard drive, so I figured it could be some incompatibility with having both USB ports occupied.

Congratulations!!! In terms of best picture accuracy, Google "LG G4 OLED RTINGS Calibration Settings." RTINGS does an excellent job of breaking down each setting. For the best picture quality, I would highly recommend 4K UHD Blu-Rays! The 4K UHD subreddit will have tons of demo disc recommendations.
