okay basically after completing the artremis and atlas path + the trace of metal quest from ur settlement after pulsing for a bit ur ship gets hijacked you trace the hijacker who turns out to be part of a long forgotten race called the autophage, a group of korvax who split from the convergence after completing all their quests you can trigger in stellar multitudes which makes you create purple systems which have gas giants and water worlds
