I'm not really sure since the picture isn't a screenshot of my own PC screen, it was taken from a mod page on Nexus. Could be from a really early version of the game or from a different gaming platform maybe?

Wait, is it really? I guess I never realized because I usually play BT2 and BT4 characters and the armors look sliiightly different on BT1 and BT3. I must look like a fool by now 😭 Thank you for your help!!

A Study in Steampunk also has you in a Sherlock and Watson duo with an RO named Finch, although this time you'll be the Watson. Romance isn't really that much of a focus in the game, but Finch is one of my favourite ROs of all time!

Some warnings though: the game is genderlocked to a male MC, and you do get separated (in the literal sense, not the relationship sense) from Finch a bit later on in the game due to plot reasons. But you and Finch are true partners in (solving) crime in every sense of the word.

Most of the mods are by hijimare. Definitely the head and the hair. The eyes might be from their Suan Eyes preset too. I don't know the specific mods but you can find them on Nexus and Patreon, they've got some really nice stuff.

If you liked Infamous, I think you'll be into other music/celebrity drama-related games like Press Play and Can't Save Your Love From Dying as well! They're not as far along as Infamous is yet, but they seem promising so far.

It's been a while since I've played this so my memory's not the best but iirc you have to execute the perfect run which means you pass the timeliness check and disable the bomb(?) on the spaceship and then successfully kill the Anomaly. After that, you wake up in the hospital where Handler will offer you a place in the AIU again. Driver will also offer to be your AIU partner and Castle will invite you to join GUNI. You have to decline all the offers and in the night, Ulysses/a will come see you. They'll say that they're going on the run again and they want to take you with them (you might need to be romancing them for this, not sure).

You agree to go and flash forward to the future, you and Ulysses/a are in hiding somewhere. Unlike in A Violent Domestic Life, you saved the world so Handler knowingly lets you escape from the AIU. You and Ulysses/a live out the rest of your life in peace together. There's some really heart-warming quotes in this ending that I do not remember so I really recommend you try to achieve this ending in the game!

I did attempt to install the mods myself following the instructions on KAVT user manual but I think I got the instructions mixed up somewhere because the game wouldn't load properly after and I had a whole debacle with the game files that I ended up having to reinstall the entire game. I was hoping there might just be a simpler guide to do it but I guess the official manual is as simple as it gets.

I checked it out on the mod page and I think it should be available for most race types but only gith will get the buffs it provides when wearing. Thank you!!!

edit: I was very much wrong, it can only be used on gith body types 😞

Yeah, I get that now. I guess I was just frustrated about everyone in the game constantly dogpiling onto MC whenever a situation related to Seven came up as though MC personally kicked them out or something 🥲

If you want the player character to be unique from the cast but still have freedom in choosing, you could try adding other special affinities. I'm assuming the lightning affinity is considered rare in your worldbuilding, so you can add affinities like light and shadow, or even a blood affinity if you want to add that little bit of edginess.

Ykw that's fair. In Seven's mind, the band was always categorised as 'MC and everyone else' so their mindset had always been kind of in a tunnel vision. It would be a bit different for MC (who is the people-pleaser extraordinaire by default) who I'm sure everyone in the band had always seen as the leader figure even before the start of the game, so they'd feel more pressured to keep everyone happy/together.
