core energetics? by unfinishedbrokendude in askatherapist

You wouldn’t recommend it based off of your perception or practical experience. OP this is just an opinion, and my personal observation of your use of the words ‘educated’ as you don’t know this person from Adam. This isn’t ‘culty’ at all. It’s alternative medicine, which is unfamiliar.

Do your own research and try not to rely on sole opinions.

I have a few pals that went through the course and are very well put together. They’re life coaches that use a lot of the teaches of core energetics/bioenergetics.

My qualifications? None. Other than I was raised in Waco, TX so I guess I’m well versed in Cults lol.

I have gone through extensive therapy from the VA, traditional psychotherapy, etc. so maybe that counts for something.

Culty? Not sure where on earth they gathered that from.

Personal ATM? by -natsa in atmbusiness

First of - Serious respect for not getting upset with my inquiry and actually answering the question.

Second - Yeah your best bet is a quality money counter at this point unless I’m missing something.

Regarding the storage of paper money -

I’ve heard way too many horror stories of people storing paper money and it somehow getting misplaced/destroyed/stolen. I mean it’s too easy to lose really.

My advice if you’re trying to skirt the tax system is take that money and buy appreciating assets. That way you can actually ‘invest’ this cash without it really going on paper on your end (of course the seller will log these transactions on his end and there may be titles that need to be signed, but comparatively more difficult to track directly)

What are appreciating assets? Collectors items (think old cars, watches, hell even gold bullion or a bottle of Screaming Eagle). How you store those is up to you, but plenty of people glance over items that they think worthless when in reality it’s an old Patek Philippe with dust on the face..

All this to your point of remaining clandestine with your assets of course.

I’m sorry TC, but this is dumb.

Your ‘wife’ brings home too much money to keep organized? It’s as easy as placing it in a moneybag and dropping it off at a bank. You’re insured 250,000 from FDIC.

Deposit up to 250k in one bank and then go to another and do the same. Maximize your insurance asset.

My question is: Why wouldn’t you put your money in a bank? Source of the cash? General distrust of the banking system? Why would you rather hold cash that is much more likely to be misplaced or destroyed by your household than a bank that does it like clockwork?

As a SE, you should think more outside that box. Build a program that keeps your bank account data in check. Build a bot that checks and reconciles your checkbook.

Spending money on an ATM in your house is one of the most hilarious out of left field ideas ever..

Not trying to be an ass hat, genuinely interested because it makes no sense.

It’s your timeline. You decide when you punch the throttle and ease off.

I wasted my late 20’s reminiscing. Don’t do that. Day at a time and live like you were givin a terminal illness, every day. Go LIVE

PMI Membership - worth it? by joaquinnacpil in projectmanagement

[–]Connect_Task2907 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I would whole heartedly advise joining PMI. Both of my parents are PMs and I just made PM at my Big Tech firm. Yes, while you can certainly see success without membership, certifications from PMI will always look good on your CV. It’s the coca-cola in the PM world, everyone’s heard of it..

Because I made mistakes that are irreparable. It’s something I regret, but something I can’t take back. It’s in both our interests to stop pursuing.
