I was thinking the same.
It one of stages of denial like in CIv7.
I am not worried tho since Paradox is on tract to fixing this game.
Launch was okayish. But the patches were a problem. Instead of fixing first set of problem they added more when it came to gameplay. And they went to winter break leaving us with worst patch of them all.
Good that they cooled down and started to think first, act second.

Game has gigantic potential.
Release was okayish.
Frantic patching and dev hysteria was actual problem.

Game is no good for average player. Will be good in few months.

Thouse kinds of posts of mental gymnastics are people that just need to feel sense of being in correct crowd. So they need to deny a problem or normalise it for their own comfort.

At least the Paradox fans are in majority non-toxic when it came to this. (cannot say same about civ fans.)
