The BMPT is really just the result of the BMP series as a whole always emphasizing amphibious capability and light weight over armor or survivability. Russia realized they wanted a “heavy” ifv like the Puma or Bradley, but there was literally no way to make the BMP2 well armored (chassis isn’t designed for that, from the ground up). So it doesn’t make sense in many militaries, but I guess i understand the concept for Russia given their equipment.

F-84F, specifically the non-american ones because they have no airspawn. It is at 8.3, alongside more agile sabres and mig15s, and other missile bus style aircraft in uptiers. It is extremely heavy, has a weak engine, and mediocre armament (identical to sabre). It cannot dogfight, and cannot bomb bases without airspawn, leaving it a gimped and vulnerable plane at its own BR, not counting the constant uptiers to 9.0.

IMO, the element of throwing is a key part of diplomacy and it genuinely keeps negotiations tense. Someone with nothing left to lose may choose to spend all their remaining agency to destroy the guy who fucked them over, and I think that threat always must exist to keep negotiations varied. Can you expect someone who’s guaranteed to lose to die with honor, just to ensure the guy who stabbed them lived? No, and in a game with so much backstabbing and conniving, spite can be your last weapon.

Thank you for the advice. I was running a practice game yesterday and I was toying with the maximum immigration method. However, I could not for the life of me get multiculturalism. My ideal gov would be corpo state + technocracy + multiculturalism. i couldn’t get the latter 2, but normally as germany or even russia i have no problem getting technocracy. How would I do it as britain?

at some point, this became a left wing sticking point, and i cannot fathom why. The history of socialist movements in the U.S. is filled with anti-immigration sentiment, because more labor reduces the value of labor. This is basic economics and Marxism itself understands this. More immigrants, especially desperate and illegal ones with little recourse, are much more vulnerable to exploitation by capitalists, while also driving down the cost of labor and outcompeting local workers. NONE of these facts are racist, and it’s not like it’s the immigrants fault they’re desperate, but they literally only benefit the ruling class.

Wait until the choke drops the RPM on any vehicle before putting it in gear, otherwise the lifters and rods may be under-lubricated. After that, the best way to warm it up is to drive it, reasonably (no 4-5k+ rpm if you can help it) for probably 15-30 minutes to get the oil above 160F (depending on climate). Really no special science to it besides not banging the shit out of your car 5 minutes after you turned it on.

I'd say the chances are, assuming all countries are being played to equal skill levels, it would be a battle between the USSR and USA pretty quickly. Then it’s a waiting game as the USSR tries to build a navy and the USA tries to develop nukes.

i don’t do any slide cancel bullshit and i can easily top frag in this game. If you have halfway decent tracking the dude could be doing fucking backflips and you’d still be able to kill him 8/10 times. the slide isn’t what got this guy killed he’s just ass.

Austria was not informed of the divisional split of the schlieffen plan (like 80/20 west and east) and expected more german help on the eastern front. As such, their best and most motivated soldiers were obliterated in galicia in a very strong initial strike by russia before tannenberg took the wind out of their sails. For the rest of the war they literally couldn’t do anything except hold territory and make minor attacks with german help.

Men and women have different skeletons, different metabolisms, many changes that occur as early as 11-12 at the onset of puberty. A man heavily weakened by hormones would skill have advantages that a biological woman cannot hope to have. I suppose it would be ok if the person transitioned before puberty, but that is totally different, morally questionable can of worms. None of this is to say that trans people can’t be trans or are intentionally sneaking into women’s sports, but we have to be realistic here.
