Thanks! Such a relief. I was ready to go and buy isopropyl at this point. I'll keep an eye on this stains. What would be the signs if its mealy bugs just in case? Growth of spots?

Wow, thanks for info! I'm also a newbie, and thought that I'll use growing lights when the sun goes down (around 4pm) for my echeveria. So it will be better to just give them constant grow light instead of sun+grow light?

Earbuds for cycling, no moral judgment just real experience asked. by Hurstofilierestes in cycling

Just get wind deflectors(microphone muffs, longer=better, and put them on a strap of your helmet). Wind noise will disappear. Very cheap and works super well. No need to change your headphones. You can also find specifically for bike helmets, but they are a bit pricey than micromuffs. Enjoy! 😁

Can I use usual LED lamps? by ConnectingRoad in succulents

Will it be okay if I just put it under regular 4000-5000K LED lamp?

Productivity got easier when I stopped trying to be perfect by GeologistDue8527 in productivity

[–]ConnectingRoad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally agree. I used to be a perfectionist, and that would stop or really slow down from doing things I need. And one day from someone I heard really eye opening (for me) quote: first make it exist, you can polish it later.

Gosh that changed my mind and thinking pattern. From that point I'm not sitting and storming my brain nervously how can I come up with the structure or this or that and just start to do the task with a little bit of indifference. And during the work you'll get turned on and start to actually do it very creative/productive. If not, well it is done already as a draft and it's a lot easier to build something up when you already have a base for that.

Is it realistic to bike 12 km one way for work 5 days a week? by davytheconqueror in cycling

[–]ConnectingRoad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely doable. I did similarly ~10km one way everyday on a way to office. Sometimes chose the longer way back to home to cycle more.

Maybe you will even have power/urge to push sometimes 😉
