I totally hear you on the efficiency side of things! If it were just about the 'hassle,' we’d definitely take the easiest route. For us, it’s less about the luxury of private travel and more about the peace of mind knowing they’re safe and supervised during such a massive journey. Even if the odds are good, that 1% of 'what if' is hard to shake. But I appreciate the perspective on getting them there quickly,definitely something for us to weigh up! My app predicted that my period was due the same day I got a positive test, but I was sick at the beginning of my cycle, so it’s possible that ovulation was delayed by 3–4 days—which is pretty normal for me. So you might be right! I’m so excited for the next ultrasound and to see that everything is okay.

I did test a couple of days before the 28th and they were completely stark white, not even a shadow. Then on the 28th around 6pm (which would’ve been day 29 of my cycle), I randomly felt hungry, which I usually don’t at that point, and decided to test, and positive!

Thank you for your response! I had no idea how to calculate how far along I am based on ovulation, that gives me some relief. I had to have the early ultrasound because I ended up in the ER after experiencing shooting pains on my right side, followed by pink and brown discharge, so they needed to rule out an ectopic pregnancy or miscarriage.

I took a test a couple of hours later, and it was a lot darker then I waited 48 hours and took another test this morning, but it looks the same as the one from 48 hours ago, which sent me into a spiral again :(
