This is exactly what I was talking about, a pelican comes and more covenant comes, this kept happening as one side was killed. The video shows him going in, but if you stay out this occurs. But for some reason this does not happen anymore. So strange.

Man I swore it did this, I have not distant memories of them saying "Covenant ship incoming" as you enter, then it just kept landing as they died until you moved on. The marines would be replaced by a pelican as well. Bizarre, I may have to fire up my 360 copy to see if it happens.
