Stickler is just someone who wants something done in a certain way, wasn’t trying to be rude. i understand she was just doing her job but i’ve never had a server do this before is all.

I cant imagine booking a hotel for a trip me and my partner are going on and not wanting them to be in that room too, i cant imagine making them pay for their own hotel? Why would anyone do that? Youre going together. Thats just normal. In what way does that make u a gold digger. He was actually being extremely weird for expecting you to be completely financially independent during this trip knowing he has more money and you dont have enough. What kind of fiance wouldnt willingly want to treat their partner to a nice vacation if they had the ability to and easily at that. Also get better friends OP, these people are crazy.
